The Weizmann Institute of Science runs studies that rely on participants logging daily personal data - meals, sleep, bowel movements, exercise, medication - sometimes multiple times a day, for the duration of a study. The existing reporting app was outdated and unintuitive, and participants were abandoning it mid-study.
My role: Lead Designer, User testing, and Dev handoff
Participants had to hand over intimate personal and medical data, repeatedly. The existing app gave them no reason to keep coming back, and no visible sense of what their effort was actually contributing to.
The core challenge: get participants to complete their logs consistently, without dropping off - by making them feel both trusted with their privacy, and genuinely part of something scientific.

creative concept.
Care Lab. Hands became the anchor - hands give, help, and heal, without ever showing a face. That made them the natural image for the three values the brand distilled down to: science, privacy, contribution - data handled with care, a person kept anonymous, and a small daily act tied to something larger.
